Christina Noyes, Creative Director and Founder of Making Movie Memories, began her career as a visual and performing arts teacher in the San Francisco Unified School District. Christina is a multiple award-winning educator who designs and facilitates digital media classes and workshops throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. Christina had a three-year working affiliation with Zeum, which is the San Francisco Museum for Technology and the Arts. This is where Christina began her study of digital media. After working with inner city youth for 7 years, Christina was awarded the Golden Apple Fellowship and two Josephine Miles Fellowships, which allowed her to return to the University of California at Berkeley to study digital arts specializing in industry standard video editing and graphic design. While at UC Berkeley she completed 5 original movies at the Center for Digital Arts and New Media Research under the direction of Shawn Brixey. After her studies, she proudly accepted a teaching position at the University of California, Berkeley as the instructor of a course that teaches educators how to integrate technology into their curriculum. Christina also teaches private technology classes for Bridge Housing Corporation and to groups of teachers in the Bay Area. Christina is the proud author and recipient of 7 San Francisco Education Fund Grants. Christina brings a tremendous amount of knowledge and experience in digital design, which helps lead the artistic direction of our multi-media projects at Making Movie Memories. In addition to her talents on the computer, Christina has also enjoyed the study of visual and performing arts in many countries around the world. She continues to study and perform Zimbabwean Shona Mbira music, Afro-Brazilian & Afro-Cuban dance. |
Garth Spaulding, Design Editor & Print Specialist, has worked with a variety of clients on all sides of print production, from working with individual artists and photographers to Fortune 500 companies. He is highly knowledgeable in multiple imaging, printing and scanning technologies including; high-end image retouching & repurposing, creative layouts, image research and selection, hi-resolution drum scanning, large-format printing, photo shoots, supper wide, 4C and related imaging services. Garth has worked with clients such as Apple Inc., the de Young Museum, the Legion of Art Museum, Birkenstock, Gymboree, Blue Marlin, McKesson, Eidos Interactive, Reflect.com, Mercury Interactive, Biorad Life Sciences, San Francisco Zoo, Primo-Fitch, Giant Creative Strategies, Euro RSCG Life, San Francisco Airport and the San Francisco Airport Museum. Garth’s key role at Making Movie Memories is to provide final design edits and high-end printing services. He has repeatedly provided our customers with high-resolution, large format, archival prints. He also specializes in digital replication of photographs into continuous tone, RGB prints on a variety of high quality papers. Garth has an excellent eye for design and therefore oversees the editing phase of all projects from beginning to end at Making Movie Memories.

Gwen Toevs, Web Designer has been creating art since she was able to hold her first crayon. With a BA in fine arts and an obsession with color, she was a natural when she began digital designing. She is highly detail oriented and quite adept at compiling, organizing, and presenting information in a clear and concise manner. Gwen is also the owner of the digital design and
advertising
company Kiwi Seed Designs.

Michael Lewis, Software Specialist is a leader on the Quality Assurance Team at Adobe Systems, Inc. He has helped develop and
thoroughly
test industry standard software such as the Adobe Creative Suite 3. He plays a key role at Making Movie Memories by contributing to the reliability of choices concerning cutting edge technology and the appropriate solutions.

Wade Peterson, Electronic Music Specialist is a highly respected and accomplished musician in the San Francisco Bay Area. He is the founder of Drum For Life a company that celebrates the African Diaspora through unique music and dance performances. He currently teaches music for the San Francisco Ballet, Marin Ballet, Berkeley Jazz School and the Marin Unified School District. He is a professional composer who designs original pieces of music for theater and film scores. His key role at Making Movie Memories is to design original soundtracks that blend sweetly with our unique legacy videos and films. |
